This Dome May Be the Green House of the Future
For the environmentally conscious,
Solaleya Designs offers a unique home, designed to be
environmentally-friendly and responsible, sturdy, yet still luxurious.
So, without further a-do, I present to you “Domespace”.
|
Built with the environment in mind,
these domed houses are built from natural and renewable materials and
shaped in a way that they cool and heat efficiently by the sun.
|
The Dome sits on a rotating base,
allowing it to adjust the placement of windows according to the sun's
position in order to conserve energy. It's also great if you just need a
change of scenery...
|
Designed with resilience in mind,
these houses can withstand even hurricane-force winds and the arches are
designed to protect the house from earthquakes.
|
You can choose for various interior designs. The company will customize your home according to your needs and liking.
|
If you're not a fan of the rustic
look, they offer a more modern look called "The Pearl". Unlike the
"regular" dome, it doesn't rotate but is designed instead to take
advantage of the position of the sun throughout the year to maximize
heating/cooling. The large bay windows allow plenty of sunlight into the
house during the winter and are shielded by a large awning-like roof in
the summer.
|
The Dome offers quite a lot of luxury, with plenty of light and room, and high-end facilities.
|
So, would you like to live in a dome-house? |
