A Man Turns a "Useless" Wall to a Painting Canvas. |
This is the story of a man who found a
unique and creative way to show his artistic talent, on what most
people would have destroyed. After re-modeling his garden, this man
decided to leave a useless wall standing, and turn it to a huge canvas
to satisfy his painting hobby.
This is the wall before he began his project, a 6ft high and 12ft long gray wall, just standing there looking ugly.
|
The first thing that he needed was to paint a white base coat on the wall. His wife was kind enough to help him with that task.
|
His first painting was rather simple, but still interesting, much like something you'd see in a modern art museum.
|
He installed spotlights, so the wall and the painting would be visible at night.
|
But soon after he became a bit bored with it, and so it was time for some graffiti additions.
|
Slowly the graffiti got more and more
elaborate. He learned how the spray paint looked on the wall and how to
use it properly. It just goes to show you that practice is the best way
to improve your art.
|
The wall kept on changing, and the graffiti became better and better. |
Every day there was something new, and you could see his improvement over time.
|
After some time, the graffiti was replaced with this beautiful, tranquil, ocean-like scene.
|
As amazing as the wall became, changes kept on coming. |
It's probably the best thing about a
massive canvas like this, if the painter doesn't like something, it
could simply be painted over.
|
Each creation brings new life and a new feeling to the garden. |
And each time it brings a new feeling of delight when you walked outside and saw something like this.
|
Especially when his art was so incredibly well done. |
Eventually, the garden became a art
piece itself, with the wall as its ever-changing, beating heart. The
morale of the story is simple: follow your dreams and passions. Great
beauty can come from anything, even a gray useless wall.
