A Little Advice for Those Stuck...
A few words of advice for those that are stuck in place and are looking for the way out. Here are a few examples: |
The Buzzard
If a buzzard is put in an enclosure
that is as big as 6 feet by 8 feet (1.8 by 2.4 meters), with no top, the
bird, although can usually fly, will be a prisoner, because the buzzard
needs to start at a run of 10-12 feet (3-3.5 meters)to be able to get off the ground. Without this condition, it will not even attempt to fly, but remain a prisoner for life.
The Bat
The ordinary bat that flies around at
night, a remarkable nimble creature in the air, cannot take off from a
level place. The ordinary nimble bat, a creture so aerodynmaic and
fluid, cannot take off from a level plane. If it is placed on the floor,
it will do nothing but shuffle around helplessly until it can reach a
place where it can throw itself into the air, where it will immediately
fly.
The Bumblebee
Drop a bumblebee into a container
with an open top and it will stay there forever unless taken out. It
will never think of flying through the top, but will continue to search
the sides and bottom for it. It will seek a way where none exists,
until it completely destroys itself.
People
In many ways, we are like the
buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our
problems and frustrations, never realizing that all we have to do is
look up!
That's the answer, the escape route and the solution to any problem....
just look up!
Sorrow looks back,
Worry looks around,
But faith looks up!
Live simply,
love generously,
care deeply,
speak kindly,
and share with your friends and loved ones.
