Chile's Volcanic Lightshow
For the first time in 42 years,
Chile’s Calbuco volcano has erupted into life, spewing tons of ash and
lava. As the surrounding countryside is being evacuated, weather
conditions have caused a spectacular lighting storm around the peak. The
resulting photos are both terrifying and mesmerizing.
