The Beautiful Ice Caves of Vatnajokull
Often called 'The Crystal Caves', the
ice caves found inside Icelandic glaciers are some of nature's most
fascinating wonders. Glacier caves such as these are formed within the
ice of a surrounding glacier. They shine in a myriad of white, blue and
green hues, fantastic to behold. These images (and video) were taken by
visitors to the Vatnajokull Glacier, considered one of the best places
in the world to see a true ice cave.
