Shocking Facts: Did Gandhari Really Have 101 Children?
Mahabharata is an intriguing ancient tale which takes us by
surprise every time we dig deeper into it. One such mystery which, we
are sure, must have made you rethink the incidents in the epic and made
you think about its possibilities. After reading the epic, the first
question which is natural to strike anyone is whether Gandhari really
had 101 children?
The epic mentions that the Pandavas were five brothers, three of whom
were born to Kunti and the other two were born to Madri who was the
second queen of king Pandu. However, when it comes to the Kauravas, they
were 100 brothers and one sister. This fact becomes a little difficult
to digest.
