Nature's Water Show: Fly Geyser!
Deep in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA, is Fly Geyser. A geyser is a slightly bizarre phenomenon in nature that starts with volcanic activity deep in the earth creating a kettle-like effect that heats up water trapped underground tunnels and shoots them out in a great column of steam. This happens on a number of places on earth, those high in volcanic activity, but it's quite surprising to see it in the middle of the desert. In addition, the rocks of this area create beautiful colors when turned into geysers, and they are beautiful to watch.
