Luminous, Electric Flowers |
With one strike of 80,000 volts, Robert Buelteman,
an American Photographer, creates a unique and wonderful photo series
of flowers, leaves and other plants, receiving a strong electric
current. This method is based on the cyrillic method, in which the
object is placed on a special matt and exposed to a strong magnetic
field, so it gets a sort of 'halo'.
The
effect is explained as a electric discharge which ionizes the air
around the photographed object, which creates these beautiful halos.
Buelteman spent 10 years of his life learning and perfecting this art!
