In a world becoming smaller and more
global, we'd like to see socio-economical and cultural differences
growing smaller, but in the advanced year of 2013, works like that of
photographer Peter Menzel still strike a tangible cord. In this work,
titled: "Hungry Planet: What the world eats", Menzel went around the
world and took photos of families and all they eat in a week. While some
spend hundreds of dollars a week, some spend as little as a $1.23...
